The 7-Day Fundamentals of Pilates is a beginner-friendly program designed to introduce you to the foundational principles of Pilates. Over seven days, you’ll focus on core stability, breathing techniques, and basic Pilates exercises to build a strong foundation. This program is perfect for anyone new to Pilates or looking to refine their practice.
For most Pilates workouts on WeRise, you'll need a mat for comfort and stability. Light weights or wrist/ankle weights are optional but can help enhance your workout for better results. These props, along with any other equipment like resistance bands or a Pilates ring, are optional, and we offer modifications to ensure you can still get the most out of your session regardless of what equipment you have.
Most Pilates sessions on WeRise, led by Corrina, are 30 minutes or less, making them perfect for any schedule. These shorter, focused workouts allow you to fit in an effective Pilates practice without taking too much time out of your day.
Pilates is ideal for people of all fitness levels and ages. If you’re looking to improve core strength, flexibility, posture, and overall body awareness, Pilates can be a great fit. If you have any specific injuries or health concerns, we recommend consulting with a healthcare provider before starting any new workout program.
Yes! Pilates is a low-impact workout, and many people do it daily. However, it’s important to listen to your body and ensure you’re allowing time for recovery, especially if you're adding it to an already active fitness routine. If you're new to Pilates, starting with 3-4 days per week is a good approach.
While Pilates focuses on building strength, toning muscles, and improving flexibility, when combined with a balanced diet and consistent cardio activity, it can support weight loss by increasing muscle mass and boosting metabolism. The Summer Body Sculpt program is designed to target fat loss while improving overall muscle tone.
Yes! Pilates complements many other workout programs, including strength training, cardio, and yoga. You can combine Pilates with other routines on WeRise to create a balanced workout plan that supports your overall fitness goals.
